Grr...
Im sad today, it sounds reaaaallllly pathetic...
I had ordered the perfect outfit for my birthday, everything arrived today, tried it on, and story of my life nothing fit.
Well it fit, but it didn't fit right.
To be comfortable i need my jeans to sit a lil higher, & my tops a lil longer.
But these jeans sit on your hips, which isn't as advertised, and means that buy the time im in my chair my pants (trousers for all you southerners) would be round my thighs.
Then my top fit perfect around the top, but due to my big hips it wouldn't pull down quite right.
Just another of my frustrations, shopping trip numero 2...

The emotions of me
As human beings there are moments, days when we are either happy or sad. But theres a few that tend to stick with you,
Heres mine.....
Grateful: Im immensely grateful for my life, being alive. Im grateful for my family & friends, they are my rock and without them i wouldn't be who i am.
Love: I have a great love for everyone in my life, if it wasn't for the i get from, and feel for my family and friends i don't think id have the strength that i have.
Anxiety: Since my accident i have become very anxious, i have to think of the worse case scenario in any situation. I always think something bads going to happen.
Fear: I think fear and anxiety come hand in hand. I am very fearful of getting hurt again, i couldn't do that hospital stint again.
Frustration: Im frustrated that i can't do thinks myself, that i can't explain things properly, that people don't understand that im not angry im just frustrated, that people dont listen, that people dont do as i ask, it is important that you do it that way.
Excited: Im looking forward to all the year has to offer.
Happy: Im happy with who i am, were im heading, the people around me make me happy and of course my shoes =D

Masterchef Friday on a Saturday
We haven't had a masterchef tea for a few weeks, & the next 2 weekends are my birthday & my birthday celebrations....
This weekend my cousin and baby Lily came, shes getting so big!
We had Pan-Fried chicken with sesame and mango hollandaise
It was delish, mango hollandaise is my new fav thing.
Since its been a while we were treated to a pudding to
White chocolate mousse with raspberry and elderflower jelly...
Heaven on a plate. I normally hate jelly but this was amazing, so full of flavour!

1. Why did you start your blog (that was tagged), how did you come up with the name/title and who is your targeted audience/readers?
I started my blog for a couple reasons, one being therapy, i find it hard to express my feelings so writing everything down really helps, secondly i hope that i can give people a better understanding of living with a spinal injury, & this is were my blog name came from. Lastly i look forward to being 50 and looking back.
2. What motto/mantra/philosophy do you try to live your life by?
Everything happens for a reason, but that doesn't mean you cant change fate.
3. Tell your most memorable vacation/trip. Where did you go, why did you go, who did you go with?
Hmm... Its going to have to be disney land paris, it was a school trip it was here i became friends with some amazing folk! I got robbed, got my pants stuck on the rocket ride, and had a seance with a chicken leg, loooooong story!!
4. If you could change careers/jobs tomorrow what would your new career/job be (and pretending you had the education/training for the job)?
I'd be a zookeeper, looking after babies that have no mummys =D
5. Who is/was the most influential person in your life? Why?
My Mum, no matter what happens she always finds a way to get through it, i admire her strength, im grateful she has always let me be my own person, whilst guiding me through difficult situations. Shes my hero.
6. What unusual or uncommon physical attribute (read: body part) are you attracted to when "checking someone out"?
I quite like big hands, but i think thats common

M.O.T
I have blogged lots this month, but feel like i have loads more to share...
I had my M.O.T at the spinal unit on Monday. Which went well, i seem to be a bit of a medical mystery. I explained how i keep going funny, & he had no clue why! He gave me a few things to try, but if they dont work i'll go back & see i guess.... Lets wait & see
I do love going back to the unit, see the staff, be somewhere, where your not the odd one out. But sometimes the staff do annoy me. Just because everyone is going/has gone through the same thing, doesn't mean you can shout my business down a corridor, its rude, and im pretty sure its illegal.
Whilst there i had a xray & ultrasound, which was fun. Why is it that when ever you have to get half naked or answer embarrassing questions do you get a REALLLLY good looking Doc or Nurse. I know they never judge its their job, they do it everyday, but when faced with someone lovely looking its hard not to get embarrassed.
It made a long day that little bit better :)

Don't post in anger
Tired is a understatement...
I had a lovely Friday night, Pub with the girls then hot fuzz in bed with a drink. Then i slipped into a cosy sleep. I don't always sleep well, so when i get a good sleep i thoroughly enjoy it. That is until i was woken up at 4:30am and kept up until 7:30am, by boys running through my house & talking, scratch that, shouting outside my door.
Not, impressed, but i will stop there.
I have written several posts in anger over the weeks, and didn't publish them, which on reflection was a great idea, because after reading what id wrote, one, they were full of mistakes, and two, by the time i had calmed down, i realised i wasn't even that mad, and everything i had written didn't count anymore.
So now i've decided, when im mad, i'll write it down, 'cause that really helps, then delete it, UNLESS you feel the same.
Then tell the world, cause then you will feel A-MAZE-ING. I know i did it with college last year.

will you be my valentine
Valentines day *sigh!
I hate valentines day and yes its entirely because im a bitter singleton, im not even going to pretend its because "its a stupid holiday invented by card companies" or whatever the excuse is that people use.
Because i would love to receive a valentines day card, to know that im loved by someone thats not a family member.
& the sad thing is i have actually never had a valentine, ever!
I have had boyfriends, & i'd say i've been in love.
But i was always the girl that was a friend, which scares me, if it was that hard to get a boyfriend when i was full of confidence and happy with who i was, how will i find one now.
hmmm.....

Super bowl!!
Last night i watched the superbowl for the first time, well i watched my first american football game full stop, and i LOVED it.
I had absolutly no idea what was going on, but i could not turn over!
By 2:30am UK time i was wide awake craving TGIFidays...
I've established im a New England Patriots are my team, and that Pierre-Paul is a machine!!
I am definatly having a superbowl party next time!!
& im now going to marry an american fb player, i've decided :)

This week it was...
Loin of venison with celeric purée, braisesd cabbage and redcurrent jus.... But we used pork instead.
This was so yummy i'd never had celeriac before or red cabbage that wasn't pickled was dr-licious!!
