Amung all the annoyance of the past months i managed to escape for a day with a trip to the lakes for a family wedding.
It was a few weeks ago now, but i haven't really been in the mood to write, but it was such a lovely day and it deserves a shout out.
My aunt Helena was marring Dan at the beautiful Grange Hotel in Grange over Sands
It was a beautiful day, filled with love and laughter.
The day started with my mum stressing about the cake, it's the first wedding cake shes made and she was panicking it would collapse.
There was a lovely ceremony, and after we went outside for champagne and pictures. Here i tried to teach my cousin a magic card trick that he got wrong 50% of the time.
We then had dinner and played a really embarrassing game of shag marry cruise (apparently that's what they played in the 80s) fyi don't play this with family members, aunts choose the most embarrassing combination of people.
We relaxed for a little then partied, first to a big band, then to a really great band, i'm not usually a fan of "wedding" bands, but these were good.
It would have been the perfect wedding if there was at least 1 single guy
