New look

As someone that likes to over celebrate their birthday i wasn't just going to have a curry out as my only birthday celebration, even if it was eventful.

So i took a little trip down south.

Not only was it a nice few days with my bugs and aunt, but there was a mini St. Paddys day celebration, and my quarter life crisis transformation continued.

Turning 24, being the now only single person in the world, well... my world, having friends get married, move, get new jobs, have babies, the "what the fudge am i doing with life" feeling hit.

So since i'm pretty much going to be single forever and probably never move out, i'm distracting myself with a new look.

So far there's my tattoo, but to be fair i have been planning this for about 2 years..

Ain't it pretty? It's in honer of my dad, it represents all the fishing trips that we always went on and hold so many memories for me. I'm looking forward to adding around it.

The second part of my makeover is the hair.

I've gone from this

To this...

It's aaaaalllllllllllll gone!!

But i do love it.. it really is a good change, and i'm happy that i can donate the snipped off hair to go on and make wigs for those that lost their hair during chemotherapy. I had my hair cut off after my accident and it really did knock my confidence for so long, so i understand the difference it can make in just simply feeling like yourself again.

There's more planned.. but i'll wait until it's all done before i share, and i promise i won't go to crazy.

  2. Why would you be single forever?
    You're beautiful and funny.
You will find someone amazing, probably when you least expect it.
Nice hair by the way and lovely gesture with the wigs.

  5. Your hair looks amazing like this! And to be honest, I couldn't imagine anything worse than being engaged/married, with a baby at 24! I definitely know I still want to be out partying, travelling having loads of fun, and no hint of settling down just that early aha! Enjoy your life right now and don't dwell on things like that, they will come to you :)

  7. Love the new hairstyle and your tattoo. Both are super cute -- change is good! And so is being single in your twenties, IMHO. You learn so much more about yourself and what you want out of life when it's just you doing your thing and not what someone else wants you to do. :)

  9. Your hair and tattoo are both so beautiful! What I love about haircuts is that my hair always feel so incredibly healthy afterwards. Can't. Stop. Touching. It.
